![]() ![]() Some could argue that it does not belong on the strip (Nevada's "Rodeo Drive" if you will) but I would argue that people need somewhere to spend their money after they window shop all day at the glitzy nice to look at places they can't afford :) Upscale is fine but ignoring volume while having beautiful, expensive, and empty isn't a fiscally prudent business model. ![]() Of the 3 you mentioned, Ballys is the closest, but you may be able to get a rate just as good or better at Harrahs, Flamingo, or Imperial Palace, which are all closer. Keep in mind, rates are based on availability. It provides a great value and is the last place directly on the strip where you can get lower table min., low ATM fees, and some everyday folk grub and booze prices. Its probably the closest major casino to the Venetian. Casino Royale has a great location and I'm sure some developer would love to get their hands on it and sees the potential (small vertical footprint and high foot traffic). It's pretty easy to envision the Strip connecting all the way to downtown and all the property from Wynncore north being more valuable than properties to the south of MB. I'll bet the north area ends up being developed much more than the south area.
